When the temperature control board buttons are not responding but the freezer has power to it, the temperature control board is likely bad and will need to be replaced.
If the control display is lit but the buttons will not work or the display is dead, yet you've determined power is reaching the freezer, the user control and display board is likely bad and will need to be replaced.
Ensure plug is tightly pushed into outlet.
Confirm the freezer is plugged in and there is power at the wall outlet. You can plug another small appliance into the outlet to confirm there is power. If there is no power, check the home circuit breakers or fuses. If the freezer is plugged into a circuit that has a ground fault interrupt, try resetting the outlet. Most manufacturers do not recommend using a ground fault outlet on a freezer.
